The Xốt Story

What exactly is Xốt? It’s pronounced like “sawt” and a way we say “sauce” in Vietnamese.

Bé Long is a reference to the name of our first-generation Vietnamese-American sauce-maker, whose experience living, eating and cooking together with family and friends in Eastside San José, influenced the flavor of Xốt Bé Long chili sauce. Despite the many hot sauce options in the market, Bé Long brings you a unique family-recipe that we believe truly does belong on everything.

Inspired by the variety of authentic Vietnamese and Mexican food throughout San José, we recommend trying Xốt Bé Long with your fried rice, tacos, burritos, chả giò, noodles, chilaquiles, tamales, chicken wings, EGGS —any dish really— to spice it up. You’ll find that it adds that savory, garlicky, tangy spice you’ve been looking for to one-up every meal. We’re a small-batch sauce to keep every bottle fresh and also proud to be vegan friendly.
